Cloud Offices project
At the main entrance of Beirut, located on the most important artery feeding the city, the project reinvents the office space of the future. It challenges the conventional layouts of offices, as well as the concept of office buildings that occupy more space than needed.
The Smart co-working campus is a business complex aiming at combining active professionals creating a unique working force.
It targets young professionals meaning architects, web developers, designers, engineers, IT specialists, event planners, teachers, researchers and artisans as well as companies requiring punctual meetings or office hours like shipment companies or other. Startups and start up incubators are targeted as well since they require affordable flexible spaces according to their growth pattern. Finally contractors who are interested in collaborating with all of the above professions.
These users are intertwined and share common interest. The project will help them develop those interests by offering them a close by connection between themselves bridging collaborations and helping their efficiency. The platform becomes richer in program because of the diversity and will promote the project better in terms of space flexibility.
The above professions require different spaces and facilities each. Some of them require only a private desk, others require meeting rooms, conference rooms, logistics, large offices etc.
The flexibility of the space will be generated by the user’s needs and scheduling. The smart co-working space will be highly connected offering an online platform showing the model, program and facilities of the project. The user will be able to book and allocate his space digitally to his preferences. The spaces will be sculpted based on the online occupancy set by the users. Workshops and technical facilities can be booked.
Architecture will be influenced by the user’s input data and preferences.
Facilitating collaborations and merging professions together.
The project re-evaluates the logic behind the working spaces. It aims at regrouping youngprofessionals from different fields to create a smartco-workinghub. The project will serve as an economical boost for the city and act as a livingorganism inflating and deflating according to its occupancy and level of productions.
The organism will offer diverse programmatic approaches, combining many working spaces typologies in order to create a diverse experiences for the end user.
Technology is the key factor, a generator, secreting input data into the project, playing a big role in designing it and constantly updating it to satisfy the users needs.
